While it's everyone's favorite iPhone which gets a luxury makeover from the phone makers every now and then, but the gold rush is on even for the Blackberry lovers.On the ergonomic level, the gold plating has been done with 24-karat version of the metal across the keypad, and front panel. It’s only the screen at the center which has the traditional black shade on it. But what the chassis does bring out, is the craftsmanship and level of detailing when it comes to creating each button on keypad separately, and creating a frame using the malleable precious metal. No wonder it sports a $7,500 price tag!
At the centre of the gadget, there is a 1.2GHz Qualcomm MSM 8655 processor, with capability of working on quad band frequency levels of 850/900/1800/1900 of sim cards. For those who clicking away pictures with their phones, there is a 5 MP camera on their end, which delivers reasonably high levels of clarity with 640 x 480 pixels screen resolution. The BlackBerry OS then helps you transfer these pictures on social networks, and share them on most electronic mediums as per convenience. However, should the need to share data arise, the Bluetooth 2.1 connectivity is a rather smooth passage for file and data transfer. For touch-screen friendly users, this handset also sports a ‘touch and type’ working style. Since this is indeed hi-end like Porsche Designs other creations, it will be available in a limited edition of just 100 units.
